The HITECH Act (Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical

Health Act) is part of the American Re-Investment and Recovery Act of 2009.

The HITECH Act supports the adoption of Electronic Health Records (EHRs)

by providing financial incentives under Medicare and Medicaid to eligible professionals and hospitals that implement and demonstrate meaningful use of certified EHR technology. On this site you will information concerning:
