Network Update

Greetings,

Open enrollment for Medicare Part D begins Nov. 15 and ends Dec. 31, and as you may already know, the Medicare Rx Access Network of Tennessee is organizing an effort to educate beneficiaries and their caregivers about Medicare Part D and provide enrollment assistance.

The Medicare Rx Access Network of Tennessee is made up of more than 40 local and statewide organizations with an interest in making sure that all Medicare-eligible Tennesseans understand their options with the Medicare Part D prescription drug benefit.

Our goal in re-activating the network is to raise the profile of Part D leading up to and during open enrollment. As before, your organization's time commitment is totally up to you. For the most part, we do a lot of information-sharing. Beyond this, you might have the opportunity to:

•  Assist in outreach/education efforts

•  Participate in enrollment events

•  Host and/or provide program participants for outreach events

Most importantly, we hope to be a resource to you in any Part D activities you may have planned. If you have information you would like included in communications to the Network, or if you have a need for a particular type of Part D assistance or education currently not available, please let us know.

We recently re-launched the Medicare Rx Access Network of Tennessee Calendar of Events
(www.mcneelypigottfox.com/NetworkCal/demoRX). Please reference the calendar and submit events as often as you like. If your organization is involved in a Part D event, please post the information to this calendar. All Network partners can then see the information and help spread the word. Submitted events will post within 24 hours.

Please call Lauren Barrett at (615) 259-4000 if you have any questions about the calendar.

Thank you.
